Olgoj Chorchoj Barrandov Villa, Brrandov, Prague
The proposal fully exploits the natural incline of the site for functional separation of individual storeys with exit from each to the surrounding garden. Visual connection of floor levels through the leading stair flights channels the space of the entrance hall over the living room and up to the gallery. The basic mass of the villa is enveloped on three sides with mature plant cover that creates a skin that changes according to year’s seasons. The fourth side is transparent and the accommodation area outlook is directed out towards the swimming pool.

Návrh plně využívá přirozený sklon pozemku pro funkční dělení jednotlivých pater s možností přístupu na terén z každého z nich. Optické propojení pater přes uskočená schodišťová ramena umožňuje kontrolu prostoru od vstupní haly, přes obývací pokoj až na galerii. Základní hmota domu je ze tří stran potažena porostlým pletivem a vytváří tak kůži, která pulzuje v rytmu ročních období. Čtvrtá strana je transparentní a obytný prostor se tak přelévá na terénní zářez s bazénem.
